Zelah Green | Zelah Green: One More Little Problem
From the first moment I saw these books creating a flutter, I knew they'd be perfect for me. So glad to have the super cute covers in hand and cannot wait to read them both!
A Year in Girl Hell | From Notting Hill with Love... Actually
GIRL HELL also looks like another really cute read but it happens to be uncharacteristically thick so it might take me a little while to get around to it. NOTTING HILL was a surprise ARC just a tiny bit different to what I normally read but still looks good.
The Back Door of Midnight | Legacy
I haven't heard much about LEGACY around the blogosphere but it seems to be a tale between two kingdoms and DARK SECRETS is mystifying me a little as it's listed online as being book #5 whereas mine says #3 on the cover...

Q: Are you more likely to pick up a brightly covered book or something a bit more darker?

What an awesome week! From Notting Hill with Love....Actually sounds super cute!

Brightly covered books do catch my eye quicker, but I do love the darker covers too :)
haven't heard of the zelah green ones before - i am off to check it out!

x
Ahh! I haven't heard of From Notting Hill with Love... Actually and I'm so glad you got it because now I have! I need to track it down, it looks adorable. Awesome mailbox this week :)

Here's what I got this week :)
Great mail box. A Year In Girl Hell looks interesting as does Zelah Green.

When it comes to brighter or darker covers - Brighter but I like the mix of elements for example the cover of Graffiti Moon :)
The two Zelah Green books are totally awesome, I hope you enjoy them!
Great book week. Happy reading :D
Oooh so cute and pretty! lol figure me to notice that first :D they look fab hope you enjoy them!
Great books this week--I haven't heard of any of them but will be looking for them soon! As for your question, it really depends what kind of mood I'm in. I typically read dark stuff, but sometimes I do like a nice "light" book (either cover-wise or content-wise). Actually, I'm kind of in a light mood recently, but most of the books I have are darker, which may be why I'm not reading as fast as usual LOL
Anyway, long answer to a short question!

Have a great week!
For the Elizabeth Chandler book - the first four books were re-released in omnibus editions that put books 1&2 and 3&4 together. So technically, this new book is the fifth book in the series, but with the new packaging it's only the third.
Fantastic books this week. I really have to read those Zelah Green novels they sound fantastic. Happy Reading!
OH MY FLIPPING GOODNESS! I LOVE Legacy! I picked it up by chance the beginning of this year and what made me buy it was that it was written by a sixteen-year-old. (She's much older now.) It's freaking fantastic--I hope you like it. And it sucks that there hasn't been a lot of chatter over it. It's such a great book.

Awesome books this week! Happy reading! :)

I've seen these Dark Secrets books around but haven't had a chance to read them yet. Love the title and the cover, though. I'm definitely more likely to pick up a book with a dark, eerie cover than one with a bright and bubbly one.
I've heard (I don't remember where) that Legacy is really good. I found the size a bit daunting at the time I picked it up, but it's definitely on my list. As far as book cover colors, it all just depends on my mood and what I've read just previously. I like to mix up my "dark" and light reads. :)
I'm not sure if I would pick up a bright cover over a dark... I think I'd pick them up both the same.

I got both of the Zelah Green books. I haven't finished them yet but they look interesting!
Excellent haul Holly! I'm super jealous that you got the From Notting Hill, Love...Actually. I've been itching to read that one. Happy reading!
I really want to read Legacy! I have heard good things about it. I usually go for bright colored covers but sometimes the dark ones grab me because they are more mysterious.
