No and Me is a good book!!!
A: The response to my friends....well I've only told 2 *one is my host sister*. My host sister doesn't really understand and thinks I work for a book company/publishing company *I keep trying to explain*. My other friend is really cool about it, and ask for some recommendations. My family/mom's & dad's friends are all impressed. My dad is very proud and likes to talk about the reviews I post. My mom doesn't really pay attention, lol.
I have read The Lonely Heart Club and The Prince Of Mist and enjoyed them both. I really really want to read The Karma Club!

My family at didn't really say much at first about my blog, because they are used to me talking about all things bookish all the time! But now that they know more about it, they are very supportive.
The Lonely Hearts Club was really cute. I hope you enjoy your books. Regarding your question--no one was really surprised....I am a middle school English/literacy teacher. :)
The Lonely Hearts Club sounds great! I've been dying to get my hands on The Karma Club also. I didn't know Dyan Sheldon had a new book out. It sounds wonderful. :]
And, for the record, none of my friends take me seriously.
The Karma Club! I want to read that one so badly. I recently saw the book trailer for it & it made me want the book even more. I really look forward to reading your thoughts on it.

Happy reading Holly! :D
I don't tell my family (except my parents because I live with them and I have to explain my book addiction). Great books!
These look great. Happy reading! My mailbox is at The Crowded Leaf.
Amazing books this week Holly! I've heard great things about all of them. I almost forgot about The Lonely Hearts Club, I definitely need to get a hold of that.

I have told my friends and family about my blog and they are all very supportive of it. They think its the coolest things, especially when I get an offer to review a book. My whole family did grow to be book addicts, so that's probably why. :)
I usally just get blank looks. My family is not particularly computer-literate. I enjoyed The Lonely Hearts Club when I read it. I haven't heard much about the others you received. I hope you enjoy them. Happy reading!
The Lonely Hearts Club...I want : )

Hmmm and to your question...my mom is really supportive. She likes to tell her friends that I run this blog and is really impressed with it. My siblings and 13 year old niece say its cool, but don't ask me about it. And my friends aren't really book people...I guess that's why I reached out to the blogging community. *sigh*
Nice mailbox! Some really great titles in there. My blog is not just YA but it is a book blog overall. When I tell friends or family about it, the enthusiasm is there, but since they don't necessarily love books as much as I, it wanes after a bit. Cie la vie...that's why the blogosphere is such a great place! Sharing the books we love and love not so much....happy reading!
