This book seems to combine all that I love about YA lot. Real problems and issues can be talked about and explored through strong characters. I teach Laurie Halse Anderson's Speak and my students love it! I wish, though, that there was more about the main character's recovery after the rape is exposed. Maybe Mockingbirds will deal with the aftermath and see the main character through the recovery process? Thanks for this great giveaway--I'm going to wishlist this book right now!
