The Future of Us
by Jay Asher & Carolyn Mackler
I love, love, love the idea of this one... I hope it turns out as amazing as it sounds, getting the chance to see your social networking profile a few years into the future would be brilliant and I can't wait to read about it.  I just wish the cover was a bit more inviting but I get that those two authors could easily pull a crowd anyhow.

November 21st 2011 ;; It's 1996, and less than half of all American high school students have never used the Internet. Emma just got her first computer and an America Online CD-ROM. Josh is her best friend. They power up and log on and discover themselves on Facebook, fifteen years in the future. Everybody wonders what their destiny will be. Josh and Emma are about to find out

You are right! The cover it's so simple and it is not calling me but the story is promising!
Dying to read this!!! Thirteen Reasons Why is one of my favorites ever, so I am very excited to see Asher put out another book!
Wait, this is the final cover? I thought it was a place-holder or something! Still, I really love the concept as well. Great pick!
I can't wait for the cover to be released! So excited!
The premise is really interesting. Jay Asher is an awesome author and I can't wait to pick this up. It's kind of refreshing to see such a simple cover.
Time travel? Or just... knowledge of the future? I'm not sure which (if any), but this does sound interesting. Nice pick.

If you’d like, you can check out my WoW here.
^_^ So glad Jay has another book out. This one sounds really interesting, though maybe folks who weren't teens in the 90's might not appreciate some aspects as much. Great pick though, can't wait for this one!
Oh wow, this sounds amazing. Thanks for letting me know about this one.
Cute idea. I'm with you on the cover, it isn't appealing at all and doesn't reflect the story.

I've been swooning over this one too - doesn't it just sound so unique and amazing pants?! But I agree, the cover is just blech. I hope they change it! *fingers crossed*
