In My Mailbox #68

2011
While I'm on holidays over the next couple weeks, I'm hoping to catch up on my reading challenge (already 15+ books behind for the year) and also focus more on my blog as I haven't been posting as regularly as I'd liked. For more information on the blogopsheres infatuation with In My Mailbox, check out The Story Siren.

This Week I Received:
Birthmarked by Caragh M. O'Brien | I'm psyched to read more and more dystopia after really enjoying Across the Universe,  Delirium & Bumped. I'll also get to Matched, Wither & The Hunger Games one day.
Small Blue Thing by S.C. Ransom | From simply discovering a bracelet to risking her life for love this one sounds pretty compelling.
Nightshade by Andrea Cremer |  I'm sure most people have read this one by now, it's been pretty popular so I thought I'd better give it a chance too.

Jenna & Jonah's Fauxmance by Emily Franklin, Brendan Halpin | This one looks so cute and it's helped along by an adorable cover but unfortunately I've been seeing some pretty bad reviews for this one, I hope it goes over a little better than I've heard.
A Pocketful of Eyes by Lili Wilkinson | I'm always glad to see Aussie YA doing well and this one looks especially delightful.
Bossypants by Tina Fey | Tina Fey is pretty damn awesome, I especially loved her in Mean Girls but am kicking myself for never getting into 30 Rock. It's be pretty interesting to see a little bit of an insight into her life behind the scenes.
Q: How regularly would you like to see my blog updated?

I'm hoping Bossypants turns out to to be good.
I hope to get around to Birthmarked really soon, it sounds great! Happy reading! I'm going to read Small Blue Thing now. :)
Wow, I only aim for about one review a week and most of the time i don't even manage that.
I'm tossing up between posting lots of memes and not having anything to post on my blog, it's hard.
I don't mind reading memes that require actual input but when it's obvious the blogger has simply copy and pasted cover art and a summary, it can be pretty useless.
I just read Nightshade the other week and LOVE IT. The people/wolf dynamics are really interesting.
Awesome books this week! I enjoyed Jenna and Jonah's Fauxmance, it wasn't my favourite but I think some of the negative reviews are a little harsh. I hope you enjoy A Pocketful of Eyes - I loved Pink so I'd love to try more of her stuff.x

Nightshade is amazing! I won Small Blue Thing, not sure about the cover but it sounds good =)
I hope you enjoy Nightshade and Birthmarked looks so good!
oh wow, Bossypants by Tina Fey! I didn't knew she had a book, she's so cool ;)

I hope her book is just as good as her personality.
Bossypants looks interesting, and I love Tina Fey so I'll be looking forward to seeing what you have to say about it. Nightshade is also AMAZING so I hope you enjoy it. Happy reading! :)

Yeah, I'm thinking Tina Fey's novel could go either way.
I'm currently try to catch up on my 111 books for 2011 challenge and the reviews seem to be lacking because of it but a couple reviews a month seems to go over okay.
Oooh ~ awesome loot!

i treid to read NIGHTSHDAE but couldn't get into it :( made it to 150 pages...) but that is b/c i don't really like paranormal YA

can't wait to see what you think of POCKETFUL OF EYES. I think it looks amazing

I'm thinking Nightshade will be the same for me, although Dystopia just surprised me by being awesome in general so maybe I'm a subconscious Paranormal fan too? God knows, I'm always adding the popular titles to my collection.
