In My Mailbox #14

In My Mailbox explores the books I received during the week. If you would like to have your own “In My Mailbox” post, you can find more information at The Story Siren.

Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver
2nd March 2010 | HarperCollins

What if you had only one day to live? What would you do? Who would you kiss? And how far would you go to save your own life?

Samantha Kingston has it all: the world's most crush-worthy boyfriend, three amazing best friends, and first pick of everything at Thomas Jefferson High - from the best table in the cafeteria to the choicest parking spot. Friday, February 12, should be just another day in her charmed life.

Instead, it turns out to be her last.

Then she gets a second chance. Seven chances, in fact. Reliving her last day during one miraculous week, she will untangle the mystery surrounding her death - and discover the true value of everything she is in danger of losing.

Little Black Lies by Tish Cohen | Horns by Joe Hill

Q: What book-to-movie are you looking forward to seeing?

  1. I really want to see The Last Song, even though I was disappointed with Dear John's adaptation. I think it will be better because Nicholas Sparks actually wrote the screenplay, and even though I don't really like Miley Cyrus, I think it will be beautiful :)

  19. Before I Fall sounds incredible. I can't wait to read it. I've got Little Black Lies on my TBR list, but haven't gotten to it yet.

Answer- There's a lot. YA is taking over the movie biz, so I'm gonna say Shiver by Maggie Stiefvater, The Forest Of Hands and Teeth by Carrie Ryan & Beautiful Creatures by Kami Garcia & Maragret Stohl!
