In Order of Anticipation:

Delirium #1 | Rival

I'm hoping I enjoy Delirium a little more than Lauren Oliver's debut, Before I Fall which everyone but me seemed to rave about. I'm excited about Rival and it fits into two challenge categories - the contempts and 2011 debut author so I'm sure I'll be reading this one asap.

Freefall | Entangled

Freefall is another one for the contempts challenge and Entangled has to have one of the best covers of this year and it's making me want to dye my hair red even more, it also wins because it was released on my birthday.

How to Say Goodbye in Robot | Winter Longing

I've wanted to read GOODBYE for a little while now and a book trade has finally put this cute cover in my hands. I've always felt 50/50 about WINTER and I'm still thinking, I'll either love or hate it once I finally manage to read it.

Waiting For You | Notes from the Teenage Underground

I'm really surprised that WAITING will be my first ever Susane Colasant novel, I guess I'm getting her mixed up with Deb Caletti and I'm glad to be finally attempting the Aussie YA novel NOTES.

Shattered Sky | The Fallen Blade

I haven't heard much about either of these novels so I'll probably shelve them both until I hear something more ultra convincing than their summaries.

I reviewed Rival for VOYA, and also for my blog, and I really enjoyed it. From the book's summary I didn't think I'd like it too much...but I did! :-) Can't wait to see what you think of it!

wsome books. I'm going to have to check out Rival. Entangled sounds good, but everyone seems to like the cover- except for me. I honestly think its nice, but not "Wow!" like everyone else. I got Delirium last week. I'm reading it now. Its pretty good so far, but not really how I thought it would be. ANd I'm over 100 pages, so I'm hoping it picks up a little more soon. And its weird. My cover looks different than yours. Probably cause i have the US one....I don't know. Enjoy! :)

I am right there with you about Before I Fall. I did not like that book. However, I've read Delirium - and HOLY COW. It's the best book I've read in a long, long time. Amazing that an author can write 2 different books that I have 2 completely different reactions to. Genius.

P.S. Freefall is amazing. I loved that book.

Entangled has an amazing cover but the blurb doesn't really catch me, so I think I'd really wanna read Rival first! It sounds reaallyyy good. :)

DELIRIUM is incredible. While I also loved BEFORE I FALL, the two books are completely different and I think while they do attract a similar audience, DELIRIUM also opens up to a whole other group of people too. I think you'll like it :)

Ohhh and Susane Colasanti is one of my fav. authors! Enjoy :)

And you are so right about the Entangled cover. I want red hair!

YAY! You got Rival! :D I'm sorry I haven't responded to your messages, Holly. Umm it all got buried under all other emails. I really hope you enjoy Delirium a hell of a lot, because it ranks up there for me. Can't wait to tackle Freefall too! Glad to know that NOTES is Aussie. Hope you read that soon so I can read a review. As you know, I loved ROBOT. Also got a copy of The Fallen Blade--hope to hear more about that one too. :P

Nice mailbox. By the way, um...how about YOU host a giveaway or a blog tour for Rival. I'm sure my pre-ordered copy will reach me soon anyway. It's almost February. I really can't trust myself with any more giveaway books. I'm hoping that once I get out of the house again, I'll be bothered to post some stuff out. I've just been a vegetable lately...

Great list this week! I read an eGalley of Delirium and really enjoyed it, and am patiently waiting to see if my library will get Rival before I buy it. Thought Freefall was great, too! Have a great week!
