Memes are fun! Well, some of them are at least. That's why I'm participating in the 30 Day Meme I stumbled across at Chimneys and Magic.

Day Three - Favourite Series
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins | I had always been curious about this series but it was only a few months ago that I actually started to take them seriously. I'm so glad I finally read these utterly captivating books as they've become one of my instant favourites and actually lead me to read the Shiver series as mentioned below. I'm sure the movies release in early 2012 will cast it into Twilight/HP popularity!

I too have just started reading this series and was completely taken in. I haven't gotten to read books 2 and 3 yet but I can't wait. Book 2 is on it's way and then I'll be ordering number 3. I can't wait to see how the movie translates and they're filming in my state. Maybe I can get to the set one day. Nice choice.

I loved Hunger Games up until Mockingjay. It was like a hit a brick wall with that one! I just couldn't finished it (especially after my students told me the ending). Gasp I know! :)

I love the Midnighters series by Scott Westerfeld. They are so under appreciated.

Yes! Fave dystopia series so far. But my ultimate fave is the Harry Potter series and the Lord of the Rings.
